Within the healthcare sector Artificial Intelligence holds the promise of automation of tasks to increase healthcare quality and overcome the shortage of personnel. However, knowledge and skills about these developments in AI are still very limited in general, but also among healthcare professionals. There is a need to upskill the healthcare workforce to get the most out of the fast innovations in AI.
To this end an adaptable two-step training programme for upskilling healthcare professionals will be created. It will revolve around the patient’s healthcare journey and provide a blended learning experience combinging a MOOC (broad target group, individual learning, focus on knowledge) with a 2-day F2F course based on an innovative gamification training approach (max. 50 participants per course, multi-disciplinary hands-on training, in-depth knowledge, focus on skills).
Information:
- status: funding approved by EIT Health
- target audience: healthcare professionals and the general public
